The method: Exness and Binance are separate platforms that don't connect directly. The bridge is USDT (Tether) cryptocurrency. You withdraw USDT from Exness to your Binance wallet. The transfer uses the TRC20 blockchain network — fast, cheap, and widely supported by both platforms.

Why Transfer from Exness to Binance?

Several common reasons Ugandan traders make this transfer:

  • Convert forex profits to MTN Mobile Money — Exness supports MTN withdrawals directly, but some traders prefer to route through Binance P2P for better UGX exchange rates
  • Hold profits in USDT as a store of value — USDT maintains a 1:1 peg with the USD, protecting earnings from UGX depreciation while keeping funds accessible
  • Trade crypto on Binance using forex profits — move money from forex trading to crypto trading on Binance Spot
  • Consolidate all funds in one wallet — use Binance as a hub for all digital assets

Step-by-Step: Exness to Binance Transfer

Step 1 — Get your Binance USDT deposit address

  1. Open the Binance app
  2. Tap Wallet (bottom navigation) → Spot
  3. Find USDT in the list and tap it
  4. Tap Deposit
  5. Under "Select Network," choose TRC20 (Tron network)
  6. Binance shows you a deposit address — a long string of letters and numbers
  7. Tap Copy to copy the address exactly
Critical: Always use TRC20 when transferring USDT between Exness and Binance. If you choose the wrong network (e.g. ERC20 instead of TRC20, or BEP20), your funds can be lost or delayed. Both Exness and Binance support TRC20 — stick to it. TRC20 fees are also much lower (typically $1 or less) than ERC20 (which can be $5–$50).

Step 2 — Withdraw USDT from Exness

  1. Log into your Exness Personal Area at exness.com
  2. Click Withdraw in the left sidebar
  3. Select your trading account
  4. Under payment method, select Cryptocurrency
  5. Choose USDT (Tether) as the currency
  6. Select TRC20 as the network
  7. Paste your Binance deposit address in the address field
  8. Enter the amount you want to withdraw
  9. Review the transaction — Exness shows any fees (usually zero or minimal for USDT)
  10. Confirm the withdrawal (you may need to verify via email or 2FA)

Step 3 — Wait for the transfer to complete

Exness processes most USDT withdrawals instantly (marked "Instant" in the Personal Area). The transaction then needs blockchain confirmations on the Tron network — TRC20 transactions typically confirm in 5–20 minutes. During busy periods it can take up to 30 minutes.

To check progress: in Binance, go to Wallet → Spot → USDT → Deposit History. You will see the incoming transaction with its confirmation status.

After the Transfer: Converting USDT to UGX via Binance P2P

  1. Go to Binance app → Trade → P2P Trading → Sell
  2. Select USDT and filter payment method to MTN Mobile Money Uganda
  3. Choose a merchant with 100+ trades and 98%+ completion rate
  4. Confirm the trade — Binance places your USDT in escrow
  5. Wait for the merchant to send UGX to your MTN number
  6. Check your MTN wallet balance (not just the SMS — SMS notifications can be faked)
  7. Once you confirm the money is received, release the USDT to the merchant

Can You Transfer Directly from Exness to MTN Mobile Money?

Yes — Exness supports direct withdrawals to MTN Mobile Money Uganda without routing through Binance. Direct Exness → MTN withdrawals are typically instant during business hours.

The reason some traders use the Exness → Binance → MTN route instead is to get a better UGX/USDT rate via P2P rather than the Exness direct rate. Compare both options before deciding which gives you more shillings per dollar.

Transferring from Binance to Exness (Reverse Direction)

If you want to move funds from Binance to Exness to trade forex:

  1. In Exness Personal Area → Deposit → Cryptocurrency → USDT → TRC20
  2. Copy your Exness deposit address
  3. In Binance → Wallet → Spot → USDT → Withdraw
  4. Paste the Exness address, select TRC20, enter amount, confirm
  5. Funds arrive in Exness in 5–30 minutes

Using TRC20 network, the total cost is typically under $1. Exness charges little or nothing for USDT withdrawals. The blockchain network fee (paid to TRC20 miners) is usually $0.50–$1 and is deducted from your transfer amount. Binance does not charge a deposit fee. Avoid ERC20 (Ethereum) network — fees can be $5–$50 and there is no reason to use it for this transfer.

Exness processes USDT withdrawals almost instantly — they appear as "processing" for a few seconds then "completed." After that, the TRC20 blockchain needs 5–20 confirmations, which takes 5–30 minutes. In total, most transfers arrive in Binance within 15–30 minutes. If it has been over an hour, check the transaction hash (provided by Exness) on tronscan.org to see its blockchain status.

This is a serious issue. Sending TRC20 USDT to an ERC20 address (or vice versa) can result in lost funds. If the network mismatch is Tron vs Ethereum, the funds may be recoverable by the receiving exchange — but it requires a manual recovery process and Binance charges a recovery fee (typically $50–$100). Always double-check the network before confirming. If you already sent to the wrong address, contact Binance support immediately with the transaction hash.

Not directly — MT5 is the trading platform; withdrawals are managed through the Exness Personal Area (exness.com), not through MT5 itself. First close your positions in MT5, then log into your Exness Personal Area on the website to initiate the USDT withdrawal to Binance.
